TotalBio’s products are made from Ecopond® biodegradable and compostable plastics which are suitable for composting and other microbial treatments. TotalBio is either certified compostable with Industrial Composting Australian Standard AS4736-2006, Home Composting Australian Standard AS5810-2010 or European standard of compostability EN13432.
Compostable products made from sustainable materials and plant by-products bring three main eco-friendly benefits:
- Decompose within 6 to 12 months in a compost setting
- Entire product breakdowns into nutrient-rich products (e.g. Natural elements, carbon dioxide and water vapor), which generates healthy soil for the planet.
